STUDIO POLICIES

Age requirements:

The minimum age requirement to attend any event, class, or party is 18 years old.  

 

Right to Refuse Service:

Secret Pole Dance Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  Our studio isn't a co-ed studio, we cater to LADIES ONLY.  Sorry no male students allowed without the owner's approval at the Culver City location.  Please send an email to secretpoledancestudio@yahoo.com for all requests.

 

Terms:

Secret Pole Dance Studio shall have the right to revise any and all terms at any time by up updating this posting.  By using this site, you agree to be bound by any such revisions and you should periodically visit this site to determine the current terms.  In addition, we have the right to change the classes and start time at any time without notice.  It's your responsibility to check the schedule daily for any changes and updates.

 

Participation in Classes:

Participation in any of the Secret Pole Dance Studio classes is contingent upon payment of fees as well as agreement in full and execution of the Secret Pole Dance Studio Participation Agreement.  Any refusal to agree to all of the terms of the Participation Agreement, including but not limited to, any attempts to unliaterally modify the Participation Agreement contemporaneously upon execution will serve as an automatic disqualification to participate in any of the classes.

 

Waiting List:

If there is an open spot in any class for which you are wait listed, the online system is designed to automatically add you into that class up to 45 minutes from that class’s start time without sending you any notifications.You may cancel yourself off the waiting list at any time before the system adds you to class by logging into your account and manually removing it OR by sending us an email tothesecretpoleparties@yahoo.com.PleaseDO NOT sign onto the Waiting List if you aren't prepared to take the class on short notice. Once you are on the waiting list, it is YOUR responsibility to for checking your schedule online through your account 45 minutes before the class start time to see if you have been added to class. If you do not show up to class after you have been added from the wait list, a $20 No Show Fee will still apply.

 

Late Cancellation:

You must cancel BEFORE 4 hours of your scheduled class time in order to avoid the $20 late cancellation fee and a forfeit of one class. If you do not pay any late cancellation or no show fees within a week of them being issued, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to enroll in classes until you pay your fee(s). If you accumulate2 no show fees and still haven't paid the 1st one, we willremove you from all future scheduled classes and your account will remain inactive until all outstanding fees are paid. If you attend a scheduled class while you owe fees, we have the right to politely ask you to report to the reception desk to pay those fees and reconcile your account. At that time, if you aren't able to immediately bring your account to good standing, you will be issued another $20 fee. **As a courtesy, your first fee is waived but you will forfeit the class credit.**

 

4 Hour Cancellation Policy:

You are responsible for canceling either your enrollment OR your waitlist position in a class that you are unable to attend either by logging into your account and manually canceling that class or by sending an email to:thesecretpoleparties@yahoo.com. After you have canceled your class, it is your responsibility to confirm on your online account that your name has been withdrawn from that class. The system may or may not send you a cancellation email. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to make sure your class has been canceled on time to avoid any fees.

 

Running Late:

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the class start time, you will not be able to join the class. At that point, you will be considered a No Show and a fee plus forfeiture of the class will apply.Every class requires a 25 - 30 minute warm-up. If you are late, then you are missing the most important part of the class. Thewarm-up increases muscle efficiency, reduces potential for muscle pulls, improves reaction time and improves the speed of movement of muscles and ligaments. Your safety is our #1 priority, therefore, this policy will be forced.
